It's made by Interstate Arms which is a front for Norinco (People's Republic of China Army). It's a rock solid weapon and a favorite among the cowboy action shooter crowd.

There's nothing at all wrong with that lever action shotgun design....it's no more or less strong than any other design. The Winchester 1887 was simply a shotgun without a market. Winchester even used that same action in 10 gauge shotguns later.
